Father’s Day 2012

Oops.  I forgot to mention Fathers Day.

Pensilva Estate Shiraz / Green Tea cupcakes

I started the day with breakfast with my boyfriend’s side of the family.  We went to a cafe in the Northern Beaches with his pop, his immediate family, and his Uncle’s family.  Food was good albeit a bit slow (then again it was Fathers Day and they were pretty busy so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt).

I made some green tea cupcakes with a green tea cooked flour frosting (with reduced sugar) for my Dad who is an anti-sweet tooth.  I also bought him a bottle of Pensilva Estate Shiraz, part of an Oroton wallet and electric shaver.  In return, Dad cooked an amazing meal for me (and the fams) consisting of lamb ribs (which were soooo much better than the Ribs and Rumps ribs I had a few weeks ago), carrot, peas, corn on the cob, roast potato with gravy.

Delicious dinner made by my Dad! Best Fathers Day ever!
